Where previously there had been overlap of paper, therefore losing map information, I was able to accurately align the papers to produce a more satisfying globe. WebVincenzo Coronelli’s Terrestrial and Celestial Globes are dated 1688 and 1693. Greaves & Thomas have republished these magnificent globes so that they are available in two diameters: 33″ and the original 43″diameter. The 24 half gore sections and two polar callotes are laid onto a plaster ball in the traditional manner.
