Or they may seem to skip some stages, although it is more likely that they simply progress through the stages differently. WebMost gifted kids do very well academically, and in college. Most do well in the work force. There are definitely circumstances that can screw over gifted kids. But it's not the norm, and more importantly, it's reversible.
